Evaluation – Task 4 evaluation: Were the results/findings what you expected (look back to Task 2 - Part 1)? Throughout the research, I discovered the end result was much the same as my hypothesis. That digital equipment is affecting the traditional studio greatly. I was expecting to find that digital equipment was slowly rendering analog equipment useless through the fact that we are making developments in our sound every day in order to get digital up to the same spec of analog, and I found the truth throughout my interview. I confirmed this through first hand knowledge in my studio interview, as they almost always use analog. However, if it is easier on digital and sounds just as good, they would use it. I also expected that the modern producer would not have any analog equipment, as it was too expensive. I find this really interested as it shows the direction that we are going with producers being happy using fairly cheap, shop bought gear. What did my feedback from...
